GEEK DIGEST FICTION AWARD
The GDFA is created and judged by our editorial team to provide an avenue for quality storytelling by novelists both traditionally and independently published to be spotted, recognised and celebrated on the Geek Digest platform worldwide.
Entry is open to any Fiction story over 15,000 words, written by a real human, available for purchase whether in stores or online, in all fiction genres and published at any time (no time window limit). All entries are given equal considerations by our team of editors and judged purely on the merit of their plotting, writing and editing quality and nothing else.
Entries are open from January 7 and closes June 20 2026. A list of five finalists and one winner will be released on July 6 2026.
Winner and shortlisted books will get global book publicity on all social media and our website for a period of 1 year worth over £10,000 in total which also include author spotlight, book reviews and book trailer and posters created and boosted on social media. If the author chooses to make a self video talking about their winning/shortlisted books, we will post said video on all our social media and boost to reach thousands of readers. From a publicity point of view, each book on our shortlist will reach a minimum of 1 million views on website and social media platforms combined. It is your biggest bet to being a bestseller. FINALIST and WINNER badges below can be used on book covers as desired by winners and shortlisted authors.

Email subject line should be your author name and book title. Attach a watermarked pdf file of your book and cover photo in the email (Watermarked for copyright protection). Body of email should be your 50 words bio, social media handles, book purchase link and 50 words synopsis. Please follow these guidelines carefully to avoid your entry being missed.
