In a vibrant celebration of artistic evolution and cultural mentorship, renowned Nigerian creative Ibrahim Adeola Ganiyu—widely known as SIRGAI—is set to unveil ISEDA: A Journey of Creativity on November 28, 2025, at Orange Academy in Ikeja, Lagos. The landmark exhibition marks his 49th birthday and promises to be more than a retrospective—it’s a tribute to the people, processes, and purpose that have shaped his two-decade journey through illustration, design, storytelling, and creative education.
A Tapestry of Work, Wisdom, and Collaboration
The exhibition, named after the Yoruba word for “Creation,” will showcase a curated selection of SIRGAI’s most iconic client projects, personal artworks, and collaborative pieces with mentees and students. Attendees can expect immersive displays of storyboards, sketches, and process visuals that reveal the discipline and depth behind his craft.
“ISEDA is a personal celebration, but more importantly, it is an acknowledgment of everyone who has been part of my story—students, clients, collaborators, and creative friends,” SIRGAI shared. “Our journeys are intertwined, and this exhibition is a tribute to that shared growth.”
Introducing the AKIIKAH Foundation
Beyond the gallery walls, the event will also serve as the official launch of the AKIIKAH Foundation for Creative Development and Economic Empowerment of Nigerian Youths. This nonprofit initiative aims to nurture the next generation of creatives through training in comics, illustration, design, and storytelling, while also advocating for cultural preservation and economic empowerment through digital craft.
The foundation is positioned to become a vital platform for building creative careers and safeguarding Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage through the arts.
A Call to Collaborate
ISEDA is inviting support from individuals, brands, and institutions aligned with its mission of creative empowerment. Sponsors and partners will be prominently featured across event materials and on the green carpet backdrop, symbolizing their role in shaping Nigeria’s creative future.
