Taking to the stage for the first night of the final leg of her Eternal Sunshine Tour, the Grammy-winning artist paused to address a capacity crowd of 20,000, thanking them for an “overwhelming” outpouring of support during a turbulent period of intense media scrutiny.

As part of her upcoming retreat from the public eye, Grande has also withdrawn from a high-profile London stage revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George, where she was slated to star opposite her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.
