LONDON — Global soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo is officially venturing into scripted television, serving as executive producer and on-screen star for a high-stakes British football drama titled Day 1s.
The series, developed alongside Kingsman and Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn, will star Emmy and Golden Globe winner Damian Lewis (Homeland, Billions) in the lead role, accompanied by a star-studded ensemble of sports and entertainment heavyweights.

Based on an original concept by prominent football agent Darren Dein, Day 1s offers an authentic, unfiltered look behind the scenes of elite international sports representation.
Damian Lewis stars as Stanley Dalton, a powerful UK-based football agent navigating high-stakes transfers, multi-million-dollar endorsement deals, and complex personal relationships across the sport.
Production is already underway in North London, with filming captured at Barnet FC’s The Hive Stadium.

The drama marks the first flagship television project from UR•Marv Studios, an independent production banner launched jointly by Ronaldo and Vaughn to bridge Hollywood storytelling with elite sports culture.
Speaking on the launch of the joint venture, Vaughn praised Ronaldo’s crossover potential and creative instinct:
