CULVER CITY, Calif. — Prime Video has officially ordered a second season of its breakout drama series Sterling Point, just weeks after the show’s explosive premiere.
The eight-episode first season, which dropped globally on August 5, quickly climbed the ranks to become a No. 1 global hit for the platform, pulling in millions of viewers across more than 240 countries and territories.
Heading Back to Muskoka
Created by Megan Park, Sterling Point follows 17-year-old Annie Jacobson (played by Ella Rubin), whose life is upended when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada. There, she navigates new friendships, complex romances, and long-buried family secrets.
With production officially slated to head back to the Muskoka region, the creative team expressed excitement to dive deeper into the island’s ongoing mysteries.
- Massive Global Reach: The series secured an immediate No. 1 spot worldwide upon its August rollout, resonating heavily with young adult and drama audiences alike.
- Powerhouse Creative Team: The show is created, directed, and executive produced by Megan Park, alongside co-showrunners Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage of Fake Empire, and executive producers Tom Ackerley and Dani Gorin of LuckyChap.

Reacting to the swift renewal, creator and co-showrunner Megan Park expressed gratitude for the audience’s reception.

An official premiere date and casting details for Sterling Point Season 2 have not yet been announced by Prime Video.
