Drawing inspiration from a definition in Dwelly’s legendary Gaelic Dictionary, Mac an Tuairneir captures the ache of waiting from dusk until dawn, weaving together universal traditions of twin flames meeting beneath a shared night sky.
Recorded at Watercolour Music, the track is as sonically rich as it is lyrically profound. Mac an Tuairneir’s emotive vocal delivery is elevated by the sublime, resonant harmonies of Gaelic vocal powerhouse Mary Ann Kennedy.
