LAGOS, NIGERIA — The Board of Directors of the African Arts Journal is proud to announce the appointment of Eyitayo Ogunleye as Editor-in-Chief. A distinguished figure in the continental creative landscape, Ogunleye will take the helm of the organization’s editorial direction and oversee all publishing business operations.
In his new role, Ogunleye will also serve as the principal supervisor for the organization’s high-profile global events. These include the flagship African Story Festival, held annually in Lagos, and the African Story Dialogue, a traveling intellectual forum hosted in various cities across Europe and North America.
The African Arts Journal is a premier not-for-profit establishment dedicated to amplifying the artistic activities of Africans worldwide. The organization celebrates the full spectrum of “African colour” in the arts—spanning festivals, concerts, films, comics, literature, and theatre.
